Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Polarys Lab ("we", "us") about the Manix app and this website. By installing or using Manix you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Manix.

What Manix does

Manix reads text on your screen and shows a translation over it, on your phone. Translations are made by software and can be wrong. Please do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial, safety or other important decisions.

Using Manix responsibly

• Game and app rules. Some games and apps do not allow overlays or screen readers, and may take action on accounts that use them. Check the rules of any game or app before you use Manix with it. You use Manix at your own risk, and you are responsible for following those rules.
• Private screens. Please do not use Manix on banking, payment, ID or password screens.
• Protected content. Do not use Manix to get around any block on screen capture or to copy, share or sell content you do not have the right to use.
• Fair use. Do not copy, reverse engineer or resell Manix, and do not try to bypass Premium or its limits.

Free plan, trial and Premium

• New installs get the full app for 7 days. After that the app moves to the Free plan, which has limits shown in the app, in Premium, then "Free vs Premium".
• Subscriptions (yearly, monthly and weekly) renew automatically until you cancel. Payment is taken by Google Play. Any free trial on a subscription is shown before you confirm, with the price that follows.
• Lifetime is a one-time payment with no renewals. It gives you Premium for the life of the Manix app as we offer it. It does not cover separate products we may sell later.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Refunds follow Google Play's refund rules.
• Prices can differ by country and can change. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Our rights and other people's rights

Manix, its design and its code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app. Some parts use open-source or openly licensed material, listed in the app under Settings, then Credits and licences, and those licences apply to those parts.

Manix is not connected to, endorsed by or sponsored by any game, comic, show or company whose content you may read with it. Their names belong to their owners.

Changes and ending

We may update Manix and these terms. If a change is important, we will say so in the app or on this page. You can stop using Manix at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop your access if you break these terms.

No warranty and limit of liability

Manix is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be error-free, always available, or work with every game or app. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost data, account actions taken by third parties, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights that the law says cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts there can decide disputes, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to use your own courts.
